Another Rowling. Oh, and Aguirre I forgot her. :) Julie Kagawa too I'm a few pages away from finishing Talon, and OMG I love it.
I forgot JK Rowling...I fail. Well, it's not so bad because I was doing YA only. I love Lauren Oliver SO much, her books are amazing. JR Ward would have made my list if I included non-YA authors. Great choices, lots of awesome authors!

You should start with her "Blood of Eden" series, it has an amazing twist vampire.
