Have you ever read a book you thought you’d hate but loved? Or vice versa?
This has happened to me a few times, I tend to judge books by their covers and blurbs so it's nice to be surprised. The last time this happened to me was when I read "A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness, I still haven't read another book as beautiful as that one. As for a book I thought I would love but ended up hating I would say Talon by Julie Kagawa, that one was the biggest letdown of 2014.

I have "Talon" on my TBR and I'm not sure if I want to read it or not. The reviews are so mixed!

I just bought A Monster Calls last week, I can't wait to read it! :) I have to agree with Lillian, the reviews are so mixed on Talon, I am not sure if I should read it.

I haven't read either one of those books yet. Maybe I'll like them?

I just added A Monster Calls to my TBR list. I’m looking forward to it.
Well I would recommend you read it slowly otherwise you might get bored. Thanks for following!
A Monster calls is a very sad book but it's still beautiful. Talon might be one of those books that you need to be in a certain mood to enjoy. Thanks for stopping by:)
Sure thing!
You should give them a chance, maybe you will like them:)
It's a very sad read but it's an amazing book!
Talon is a book coming up on my reading list. I hope I won't be disappointed like you were.

Awesome! I really need to read some of Patrick Ness's books!

Following you through Bloglovin!
Hi! I haven't read either of your choices but I can totally identify with judging a book by its cover. It kills me when a pretty book is a crappy read! New follower! :)
I really like it when people put books on their lists that I've never even heard of, it just goes to show how many books there are.
New bloglovin' follower!
I hope you enjoy it!Thanks for stopping by:)
Well you should give both books a try, I really loved a Monster Calls and you might enjoy Talon more than I did:) Thanks for Following.
Yes! Meme are a great way of discovering new books! Tanks for following:)
I'm surprised at both your picks! I've only read the first book of Ness' Chaos Walking series and I didn't love it... I love Julie Kagawa, but haven't read Talon, so I'm surprised at that, too! I'll have to read both and see what I think!
Old follower, but new Twitter follower. (:
Here's my FF!
I fortunately read A Monster Calls before reading the Chaos Walking series (I didn't like it either), I was also incredibly surprised about not liking Talon either, sometimes authors just get it wrong. Thanks for following!
I tend to judge books by their covers too, and it's gotten me into trouble more than once. Old follower!
