Review & Rating Policy

Note to authors and publishers:

I would love to review or promote your book. Mostly I tend to read YA Novels so the request of these books will always take priority, but if you write middle grade or adult books don't hesitate to send me your books' information

I can accept ARCs and finished copies. I also have no problem accepting most e book formats but I prefer to be sent .mobi versions of your e book.

All books will be reviewed as soon as possible usually one to two months after receiving them. If you would prefer that a review be posted close to the book's publication date or if you need the review to be published on a specific  date, please state so. I post all my reviews on my Goodreads and Blog if you require I will also post on other sites like  Amazon. If I can't finish your book I will not post a review but I will send you an email telling you why I could't finish it.

My reviews will only include my honest opinion. I include a mixture of things I like and didn't like about a book.I rate my books using a 1-5 system, including half ratings.

How I Rate Books

I rated each book using a 1 to 5 star ratio, including half stars like on Goodreads and  I'm continuing that policy in my blog.

I'm pretty generous with my ratings. I usually pick books that I'm fairly confident I'll like. And I can find enjoyment out of a book for many different reasons. My most common ratings are 3.5 and 4.

0 Stars mean I didn't finish the book so I can't rate it.

1 Star: Really bad, I didn't find this book enjoyable at all.

1.5 Stars: Some redeeming value but not much.

2 Stars: Good enough to keep reading but that's about it.

2.5 Stars: It held my interest but wasn't anything special.

3 Stars: One of two reasons - The book was good but not great or I really liked the book but had some issues with it.

3.5 Stars: The book was fun and interesting and I'm glad that I read it.

4 Stars: I really liked this book and I'll recommend it to all my friends.

4.5 Stars: I loved the book. It was either super-fun or really made me think and reflect. The book lingers in my mind long after I've read it.

5 Stars: Incredible, mind-altering, life-changing book, these are the books that I will save if there is a fire in my house.
