What’s your favorite Thanksgiving Day food? If you’re not American or Canadian, what is your favorite holiday food?

W W W Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sould be Reading. To play along you have to answer three questions:
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finished reading?
  • What do you think you will read next?
My answers this week are:

What am I currently reading? Inner circle by Kate Brian, I'm a fan of books that take place in boarding schools.

What did I recently finish reading? Brooke by Veronica Rossi. I have been waiting forever for this little novella, once again Miss Rossi didn't disappoint.

What will I read next? I think I will read Lost in Time by Melissa De La Cruz.

Thanksgiving...what are some of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? What do you like to cook or eat? Feel free to share a recipe!

Well I live in Mexico so we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here but I did live in teh U. S. for a while and I went to a few and the thing I liked the most was the turkey. As fo sharing any recipes I'm afraid I have zero cooking skills.

Review: Reaping Me Softly

Publicado por Lina Jiménez en 17:01 0 comentarios
Title:  Reaping Me Soflty
Series: The Reaper Series #1
Author: Kate Evangelista
Pages: 209
Date Published: Octiber 30 2012
Publisher: Omnific Publishing

*I recieved this book for free in exchange for an hosest Review*

Ever since a near-death-experience on the operating table, seventeen-year-old Arianne Wilson can see dead people. Just as she’s learned to accept her new-found talents, she discovers that the boy she’s had a crush on since freshman year, Niko Clark, is a Reaper.

At last they have something in common, but that doesn’t mean life is getting any easier. All while facing merciless bullying from the most powerful girl in school, Arianne’s world is turned upside down after Niko accidentally reaps the soul of someone she loves. This sends them both into a spiral that threatens to end Arianne’s life. But will Niko break his own Reaper’s code to save her? And what would the consequences be if he did?

For the last few months I have heard a lot about teenage reapers, but so far none of the titles had captured my attention, so when I found out that an author I had previously enjoyed reading was giving a copy of her book free in exchange for a review I decided to give the reapers a chance.

The Pros:

-Niko: A bit clueless at times but he was a nice male lead overall but I loved how respectful he was with Arianne especially.

-Ben and Ari’s friendship, it was a very nice and healthy one that proves that a boy and a girl can be just friends.

-I liked this books portrayal of death

-The Dual points of view

-Ari's Sister

The Cons

-Ari, unlike Niko I didn’t like her very much, not sure why I just couldn’t connect with her.

-The instalove on Nikos’ side. Ari admitted to having a crush on him since freshman year while Niko suddenly realized Ari existed and could no longer live without her.

-How the situation between Darla and Arianne was handled.

All things considered this book was a very nice read and a great way to start my teenage reaper collection.

Final Rating:

*Thanks again to Kate Evangelista for letting me review your book*
