Monday is the day I choose what new books I’m going to start reading but I have so many books in my To Read Pile that sometimes it’s hard to choose so I have decided that on Monday mornings I’ll recommend some of my favorite books.
The Compound by S.A. Bodeen
Eli and his family have lived in the underground Compound for six years. The world they knew is gone, and they've become accustomed to their new life. Accustomed, but not happy.

Eli's father built the Compound to keep them safe. But are they safe—or sorry?
A great post-apocalyptic novel with a great twist at the end. The Fallout is a sequel to the Compound but I decided not to post the summary because it spoils the first book entirely.
