Monday Book Recommendations: The Safest Lies by Megan Miranda

My newest guilty pleasure, the plot is simple and the characters are kind of Cliché but it's just addicting.

I'm not a huge contemporary YA fan but I really loved the writing in this one, it never felt pretentious.

When I made the wish, I just wanted a do-over. Another chance to make things right. I never, in a million years, thought it might actually come true...

Do over stories are some of my favorites, especially when the main character learns so much about herself.

Monday is the day I choose what new books I’m going to start reading but I have so many books in my To Read Pile that sometimes it’s hard to choose so I have decided that on Monday mornings I’ll recommend some  of  my favorite books.

For fans of We Were Liars and The Girl on the Train comes a chilling, addictive psychological thriller about a teenage girl who cannot remember the last six weeks of her life. 

Eighteen-year-old Jill Charron's senior trip to Italy was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime. And then the accident happened. Eileen Cook has never disappointed me with her books and this was no exception.

When I started to  read this I was expecting some Gossip Girl type of book and this certainly wasn't it. I was pretty pleased with it.

The movement is all that matters.

This book definitely  needs more attention, it's beautifully written and it has an incredibly amazing message.

This is definitely my favorite read of the year so far, it was everything I wanted it to be.

It was pretty Cool to see how many ways a doll could be made into something incredibly creepy without restoring to possession.

 No second book syndrome here, although I did want to shake some of the characters a few times. Still it was the sequel I had hopped for.

 Novella's can be tricky, some feel like they were written just so the author could make more money but in this case it actually added more substance  to the main series

Another book in my murder/mystery list that I've been obsessing for a while now. The ending was pretty amazing in my humble opinion.

This book was pretty bizarre and quite a heavy reads at times but by the end of it everything came together very nicely.
